Curious minds, capable hands.
Preschool is where everything clicks. Letter sounds become words, counting becomes calculating, and "why?" becomes a full-time occupation. We channel that curiosity with short, joyful guided sessions woven through long stretches of play.
Every week includes forest school in our garden classroom, show-and-tell Fridays, and a lending library so stories travel home in book bags.
- Daily phonics and early maths in groups of eight
- Weekly forest school with a qualified leader
- Big-school readiness: uniforms visits, teacher role-play
- Graduation ceremony and learning journal to keep

Growing, week by week.
Sounds to Stories
Phase-one phonics through songs and games, a letter of the week, and one-to-one reading with a teacher twice weekly.
Numbers Everywhere
Counting in the garden, weighing in the mud kitchen, pattern-making with beads — maths hidden inside play.
Forest Fridays
Den building, minibeast hunts, and hot chocolate around the fire circle, whatever the weather. Waterproofs provided.

Good to know.
Will my child be ready for primary school?+
Yes — and happily so. We practise the real skills: hanging up coats, asking for help, taking turns, and sitting for a story. Academically, most leavers read simple books and write their names with pride.
Do you offer funded hours?+
We accept 15 and 30-hour funded entitlements for eligible 3 and 4-year-olds, stretched across the full year. Ask us and we will do the paperwork with you.
What happens on forest school days?+
Waterproofs on, whatever the sky is doing. Children learn fire-circle safety, tool skills with potato peelers, and leave-no-trace respect for nature.
